Privacy Notice
Before using MathMall: The teacher-and-student pilot is still being developed. Do not enter real student personal information until your school and MathMall have approved the pilot's privacy, access, and retention arrangements.
What information may be collected
For educator access requests: name, email address, school or institution, teaching role, subjects and optional application details. For an activated classroom, the planned data includes teacher and student account identifiers, classroom memberships, assigned work, answers, scores, learning progress, and limited activity/presence records.
Why it is used
To review educator applications, authenticate accounts, run private classrooms, deliver assignments, display progress to authorized educators and students, maintain security, and troubleshoot the service. We do not intend to sell personal information or use student records for targeted advertising.
Who can access it
MathMall's planned permissions restrict classroom records to authorized accounts, such as the relevant student, their teacher, and designated service administrators. Technical safeguards are still undergoing implementation and verification; do not assume they are fully operational in this pilot.
Service providers and hosting
MathMall uses Cloudflare for website hosting and Supabase for authentication and database services. These providers may process information to operate the service under their respective terms.
Retention, correction, and deletion
Specific retention periods and account-deletion processes have not yet been finalized. Educators and schools should agree on these before onboarding students. Requests for access, correction, or deletion should be made to the MathMall administrator through an agreed school communication channel.
Children and school use
Where students are minors, the school, district, or responsible adult must confirm appropriate permissions and agreements before student accounts or information are created. Checking a box here does not replace any required school authorization, parental consent, or applicable legal agreement.
Your choice
You may decline the acknowledgment and not submit an educator pilot request or sign into the pilot. This notice is informational, not a guarantee of regulatory compliance.
Updates
This notice may change as the pilot develops. Any material change should be communicated to participating educators before real student data is collected.
